About: NHS 24 Royal Alexandra Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics (wards 21-23) Southern General Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics Vale of Leven General Hospital / Orthopaedics Western Infirmary/Gartnavel General / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I phoned NHS 24 about a cartilidge that I'd torn in my knee and because it was excruciating. The call handlers and the nurses were supportive in trying their best to help me recover. Then I was seen by a doctor in a Glasgow hospital.

It has been confirmed that I've to see an orthopaedic surgeon. My health isn't in the best state it could be and NHS 24 have helped me through so much pain and distress. From the call handlers to the nurses that have assessed me and with their support at this distressing time. That is the reason why I want to work with them to say thank you. Without the help and support of NHS 24, I would probably with my knee be in a bad state.

I appreciate the help, NHS 24.
