"Pediatric services in A&E"

About: St George's Hospital (Tooting) (London)

My daughter attended the pediatric A&E with her 4 day old baby. The staff from the first meeting with the triage nurse through to the eventual admission to ICU were exceptional. Everyone was considerate for the parents, communicated what was happening, listened to the parents and dealt with the emergency in a professional manner. At no point were the parents left not knowing what was happening. Every new health professional who we made contact with explained who they were and what they were doing, someone even found time to make a cup of tea. This is a wonderful department that demonstrates the excellence of the NHS and its staff and how to deliver a more than satisfactory patient/client experience.

Thank you very much for taking the time to post your feedback about your daughter's experience at St George's Hospital. Your kind comments about the professional manner and consideration shown to your daughter as a parent and in the care given to her 4 day old baby by all staff she came into contact with, will be sent to the managers of the service. In turn they will inform the staff.
