"Clinic F Emergency Care"

About: Manchester Royal Eye Hospital

There was a wait to be seen , about 3 plus hours to see the doctor but the care was excellent . Very thorough examination and fully reassured so well worth the wait .

Thank you for your comments posted on the Patient Opinion website regarding your care in Clinic F of the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. It was very kind of you to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects their hard work and dedication. It was reassuring to hear that you thought the care you received was excellent and the examination was very thorough. We are, however, very sorry that you have had to wait. The service we provide is an Emergency Service and we cannot predict demands. There are occasions when we experience an increase in demand that patients experience a wait. Please be assured that the Management Team at the Eye Hospital monitors the waiting times very closely every day and makes every attempt to divert resources to reduce waits if they can. We can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to the Emergency Eye Centre (Clinic F’s) manager and to the staff involved.
