My 88 year old mother recently visited rheumatology and the doctor could not have been better. She explained clearly the options available, the pros and cons and was able to immediately relieve some of the pain my mother was in and organise blood tests and X-rays for a follow up visit. My mother went home happy that she did not feel she was being a nuisance and she said she felt the doctor really cared about her problems.
