About: Cumberland Infirmary

I n so i was monerstarted coughing blood up a week after my toncil op and rang doctor, even though the bleeding had stopped by then he said he would send a ambulance for me. very pleased he did the ambulance staff said i would have a long wait if i had just walked in. took a while to check me in as it was changeover of shift and it must hold the ambulance service up as they cant go till they have handed you over. anyway once handed over i was taken to a cubicle and a dr came to see me and nurse did some assesing. I had another bleed then and had ecg. when settled down up to beech for the night on a antibotic drip and gargle to stop the bleed. staff all very good on a very busy night.
