I had been treated for a frozen shoulder by my doctor just weeks before my operation for a hindfoot fusion and I was asked to try use crutches the day after my op: the result was severe pain in my shoulder again. I have tried to use the Zimmer frame but the pain was too severe. I think it was too soon after the op to be hoping around as I also have angina.
However I was always treated with kindness on ward 33.
