"Short visit but impressed with the care and staff"

About: University College Hospital

I was referred to UCLH by the 111 operator, due to acute pain in my knee. Triage was done very quickly (within 10-15 minutes) and I was referred on to a doctor. There was a little wait (which was expected, as although in a lot of pain, I wasn't seriously ill) Once with the doctor. I was immediately given some pain relief, a thorough examination and advice in case of future infection. I have to say that I was treated with great care and professionalism during my visit. If there is any criticism, there was quite a long wait at the pharmacy (1 hour) , but to be honest, I was just happy to be less sore. I'm now back home and feeling much more comfortable thanks to the wonderful team at UCLH. Sometimes we forget how amazing our NHS is !
