"My wife was admitted in an emergency situation and..."

About: Eastbourne District General Hospital

My wife was admitted in an emergency situation and was taken to the Intesive Care Unit. They literally saved her life by their professionalism and expertise at all times giving her the best possible treatment and also keeping her husband very well informed as to what was happening. No praise is strong enough for the help and kindness that we both received which has largely been responsible for her surprisingly swift recovery. She was moved to Berwick Ward where again the care treatment was of the highest standard. The nurses were constantly attentive and the Doctors were sympathetic and helpful. Dare I say it even the food was vastly improved from the hospital her husband was in a few years ago.
