"Superb,kind,compassionate care"

Mum was an in patient on Ward 53 until her death on 20 jan. The care she received was throughout her stay kind ,compassionate with great communication from both doctors and care staff so we, as her family felt fully informed and involved in her care. Every day the staff caring for mum would introduce themselves to us and were available whenever we needed them. They cared for us in addition to mum and their kindness relieved a great deal of our anxiety. They were honest and at all times understanding and considerate . The team are a credit to both the hospital and the wider NHS.
