"Endoscopy"

About: Colchester General Hospital

I attended the Elmstead Day Unit on Saturday 17th January 2015 for an endoscopy. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the nurse who attended to me during the procedure, I didn't have the opportunity to thank her afterwards. She was kind, professional and caring, everything and more of what you would expect of a nurse. Being an uncomfortable and for me quite traumatising procedure she went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and at ease. She is most certainly an asset to the team. I would very much appreciate if you can pass my thanks onto her.

Many thanks for your comments and taking the time to submit them. We try really hard to improve our services based on the comments we receive from our patients, their relatives or carers. We have a quarterly At Our Best Awards scheme which recognises staff achievements and thanks them for what they do. It has a team category, an individual and a volunteer category. You could enter the team/the person you were kind enough to write in about, by clicking here! http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/At_Our_Best_Awards Also, could you email me, using the reference “+ve Comment on Gastrointestinal and Liver services at 21/01/2015 17:09:43”, please so we can pass on your good wishes? Many thanks Paul Searle, Head of Communications Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust info@colchesterhospital.nhs.uk
