"I need the problem sorted"

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

(as the patient),

I have received treatment from 2005 up until now and this is an ongoing thing for my eyes. I went in September 2008 and again in March 2009. The specialist said that he would write to my GP and that my GP would contact me. No contact has been made and I was left high and dry. I contacted the surgery myself and the GPs had all changed and it seemed that no one had dealt with my case. So I made an appointment to see the GP and he said that he would put me on pain killers.

This is just not good enough. I want the problem sorted.

On the 24th June I visited the walk in clinic and they examined me and gave me some eye-drops and said that was all they could do. I need to know what is wrong with my eyes and that I am cared for properly. It may be because of the waiting list that they just gave me pain killers and have not really dealt with the problem. My eye sight is very important and I am anxious to be checked and dealt with properly.
