"An excellent operation"

I thank the consultant and his team in performing an outstanding operation at the UCLH hospital. Their professionalism and dedication in performing such an complex operation had saved my life. The team had consistently kept me informed at all times prior and post of the operation which was re-assuring and comforting. Prior to my operation the tumour was causing consistent pain and affected my life in doing some of the most essential daily tasks. I had seen my local neurological doctor and physicist, as well as trying Chinese acupuncture; but struggled to find a solution due to the complexity of where the tumour was located. After undergoing an 7 hour operation which was successful I am now slowly recovering. I also like to thank all the nurses and staff at the Victor Horsley ward as well as the physiotherapists in providing an excellent service and ensuring that I was always well looked after. I wish the team all the best in 2015. Wendy
