"Car Parking"

About: Moseley Hall Hospital

I'm shocked, angry and extremely disappointed in the lack of parking facilities. Can I recommend that you cut back on the overgrown shrubs/trees and provide some? I'm sure patients would prefer to look at a visitors face, than some dead bushes! Alternatively try staggering / limiting visiting to an hour, it just needs some organisation, which is currently clearly lacking...

I am sorry you have experienced difficulties parking on the Moseley Hall Hospital site. We are aware that at peak times during the day, the four car parks are often full to capacity, and local side streets do not always have space for drivers to park. In 2014, the Trust undertook a review of the traffic flow and parking on the site, and have made some initial changes in relation to reconfiguration of parking, signage and the implementation of security / car parking attendant during peak periods which is supporting traffic management across the site. Further actions are also being considered which we hope will help to further ease the situation, and your own suggestions have been forwarded to the Matron and the Director of Estates and Facilities, and will be considered during decision making. May I once again apologise for the disappointment, anger and inevitable upset both you, and the patient you planned to visit experienced on this occasion.
