Was taken into A&E by paramedics with severe back pain. Despite being given numerous painkillers unfortunately I was not able to sit up, let alone stand, while walking was completely out of the question. The junior doctor I was seen by repeatedly attempted to get me to get up and off of the trolley and in mind, made things much worse, when the first attempt should have made it completely clear that I was not able to do so. While I appreciate that the service is under incredible strain at the moment, I very much felt like this doctor was trying to get me out of the door when it was clear that I was not physically able to do so at the time. This, to my mind, was absolutely clear after the first attempt. In the end, after my fourth agonising attempt at getting up, I was admitted and ended up on the wards for three days.
"Not very impressed"
