"Worried"

About: Salisbury District Hospital

Hysterectomy in September 2014. Seemed to go ok. Worried about the night nurses treatment of elderly on the ward I was on. Not abusive but they seemed to talk to them as if they were a nuisance and there seemed to be a few mistakes with their care. They were very busy, my catheter bag overflowed and fluids after the operation were not given for 6 hours as the bag was jammed but no-one noticed. Gynacology department - no post op appointment given even though told that I would have one, when calling to arrange was informed that wasn't done anymore and to go to my GP. When problems arose after the op., myself and my GP tried to find out information - this proved difficult. Still waiting. I'm sure they're very busy but still it's a shame it seems to have deteriorated since previous reviews were positive.
