"Easier endoscopy than expected at QMC"

I attended the gastroenterology department at the QMC due to frequent diarrhoea without apparent cause.

The appointments were all held very close to their scheduled time. The staff explained things well and took time to listen to what I needed to say about my problem.

The endoscopy itself was far easier than I had expected. There was only a very small amount of discomfort. I felt fully recovered after half an hour.

I did find the preparation of enforced diarrhoea difficult due to needing to be at work during the previous day and needing to share the bathroom toilet at home with other family members, preventing them from having time to take an evening bath.
