"Treatment following a heart attack"

About: Kent & Canterbury Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

Three weeks ago I had a heart attack. In every way my experience with the NHS was excellent.

I was assessed at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital without delay and found a bed on Taylor Ward. The nursing care was very good and the ward clean and efficient.

Five days later I went home to await an appointment for an angiogram. Just over a week later I was at St Thomas's. I now have 3 stents and am at home feeling a great deal better.

My thanks to everyone. From start to finish it was the NHS at its best.
