I was originally referred to Mr Penney's outpatient clinic in Dorking in early October 2014 and then referred on for an MRI scan.
I needed to chase for the MRI scan twice as after about a month I had heard nothing. Eventually I had my MRI scan and I am now awaiting a procedure with Dr Pankania in March.
After the first appointment in Dorking I was asked back for a biopsy which was carried out in mid-November in Dorking. By Christmas I had heard nothing even though I was assured it would be less than two weeks for results.
After a lot of phoning to Mr Penney's secretary at East Surrey Hosptal I was told that as a result of the biopsy I would need a further test- a hystoscopy. Early January I received a letter from Mr Penney saying he had made an appointment on my behalf but gave no details. I am still awaiting this appointment and I have been told that if it is not carried out by March I can not have my procedure with Dr Pankania. I have phoned the consultant's secretary twice but she has not phoned me back in more than a week.
I have no confidence and I think I am lost in the system, being ignored.
"Lack of communication from hospital about appointments."
