Dear Marry12,

I appreciate how frightening it can feel bringing your daughter into hospital for an operation - it can be helpful to discuss your worries with a member of staff and ask any questions you have so can I please encourage you to contact the ward to which your daughter is going to be admitted. From your description it will most likely be ward 5, the ward sister is Kate Dolman, her deputy is Rachel Stephens or Tracey Aston and the number is 0121 333 9032.

Alternatively please call me on 0121 333 8619.

Kind regards,

Janette
