"Wonderful fast service"

About: Warwick Hospital

I woke with a pain and went to my GP in Kenilworth at 8.00am to get an early appointment. Surgery opened at 8.15, by 8.20 I was seeing a doctor. The doctor was worried about my problem and phoned Warwick Hospital A&E emergency surgery. I was refered immediately to see the surgeons. A 10 minute car drive later I was in A&E, 9.15 my blood ands few other test had happened and we're off for testing. The surgeons were soon with me to asses me, unsure of my assessment they asked the Registrar for an opinion. Ultimately I did not need surgery, not yet anyway, hopefully I'll be fine with pain killers and antibiotics. In summary, 8.15 in Kenilworth doctors surgery, 8.20 seen by GP, 9.30 in hospital, 10.00 seen by surgeons, 10.30 to 11.00 all tests back. A true star to the NHS, well done NHS Warwickshire, and thank you. Problem, what problem.
