Following a sport injury I was placed on the waiting list inOctober 2014. Within two weeks I was offered a chance to have the knee repaired within two weeks by a private hospital under an NHS as it was going to be likely that I'd miss a waiting target. I refused as I believe in NHS and the timing was inconvenient work-wise. Within two days I was contacted with a provisional date (11 January) which was ideal for me. Appropriate appointments were made in preparation for that date. I arrived for my surgery in the morning as requested, operated by midday, released home by 16:30!!! Staff at Conquest are exceptional - caring, professional and efficient. The only slight grumble - post op information can be more comprehensive (FAQ type of a leaflet is a must), it might have been given to be verbally but after anaesthetic not a lot of it was retained. In conclusion - the Conquest is my local hospital and every time my family comes in contact with it we have nothing but highest of praise for its staff.
"Had an ACL reconstruction surgery."
