"Operation has left me with severe problems."

About: Darent Valley Hospital

I had a haemorrhoid removal operation in July 2014 at the day care unit. Post surgery I was in absolute agony for over a week. From day one post surgery I was immediately left me with fecal and urinary incontinence. I had never ever suffered these problems before. Not only that but the haemorrhoids are still there and worse than ever. This has left me unable to leave the house. If I have appointments to get to I either have to not eat the previous day or wear very big uncomfortable sanitary towels. I sent in an official complaint and all they wanted me to do was undergo another haemorrhoid operation! I complained further stating that was unacceptable and have heard nothing except the confirmation letter that they received my further complaint. That was in November 2014. My complaint has not nor never been taken seriously, I am virtually housebound and the hospital could not care less how much they have ruined my life. I am absolutely disgusted with the way I have been treated.
