"UCC, AE and Ambulatory Care"

About: The Whittington Hospital

I cannot recommend this hospital enough. I was amazed how well I was looked after from 12th to 14th Jan, how fast I received the treatment, and how thorough the doctors were. Everything and everyone was outstanding, beginning with the nurse at the A&E (very caring and understanding), through the nurses in the UCC, surgeons on call, and the ultrasound staff. Every medical staff member I interacted with was professional, absolutely first-rate. One concern only: I witnessed a hospital female staff wheeling an elderly, clearly unwell man to the ambulatory care on Wednesday. She couldn't have been more disrespectful. She sat the man on the bench barefoot, with his pj pants dropped around his ankles, hospital gown all in disorder, and she took off, annoyed, taking the wheel chair and without a word. She left him there half naked, barefoot, in the crowded waiting area.

Thank you very much for your positive feedback, which we'll pass onto the team. We will also ask the ambulatory care centre team to look into your concern.
