"We were very upset by insensitive staff"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary / Diabetic medicine

(as a relative),

I went with my wife to visit the outpatients department at Hull Royal Infirmary Hospital. She is diabetic which she controls by tablets and a diet. She has a problem with taking Aspirin. The basically told us that if she takes the Aspirin she will bleed to death and if she does not take it she will die anyway because her blood will clot.

They were so insensitive; do they have to be like this? We are elderly and it is not nice to be spoken to like this, they were just so rude with no feeling. We have to go back again for another check-up and I just hope that they are not so rude again.

It was really very upsetting for my wife and I.
