I was referred to cardiology outpatients for an ECG by my GP. I was expecting a possible and understandable wait as the service is a walk in clinic and I was arriving right at the end of their opening hours. However, I was very impressed that I was seen within 15 minutes of my arrival and the man who did the ECG was not only courteous and professional, but explained what he was going to do and made me feel at ease. I also had the opportunity to witness other staff engaging with patients in a friendly and approachable manner and a porter going the extra mile to find out what ward an elderly patient who had apparently been waiting for a while had come from and taking him back. A very positive experience.
"Very impressed!"
