"Excellent !"

I was visiting London, had an accident and was taken by ambulance to A and E at University College Hospital. I arrived frightened , in pain and knowing nothing about the hospital. I was very quickly reassured by the professional, kind and sympathetic staff and soon realized that I was in very good hands. I was admitted, had surgery the following morning and remained in the hospital for two weeks. Every member of staff from the cleaners to the top surgeons were kind,highly skilled, efficient, professional and caring. The nurses were amazing and worked very hard to make sure the patients had everything they needed and were comfortable. I live in the USA and am now in awe of the NHS and the standard of care available to the population at no cost. Anyone who believes socialized health care cannot work should visit this hospital.
