I was sent to the A&E dept of PAH from St. Margaret's after being diagnosed with a broken 5th metatarsal. I was seen promptly was the gentleman that dealt with me first before going into the plaster room, was the friendliest and understanding man. In the plaster room, the plasterer again was lovely and friendly and was given a choice of any colour plaster I wanted. I then saw a doctor, who was very brief, but again the initial gentleman I saw reassured that I would need plenty of time to get over my injury. Two weeks later I went back for more X-Rays and was seen by various people in the plaster room. Once again atmosphere was lovely and all staff were very helpful and friendly. I was seen a consultant who was very sympathetic, friendly and very informative. A month later same again. I saw two other doctors. Again I was seen quickly and with care, humour and was given plenty of information and choices. I am due back there on January 20th and am looking forward to finally having the cast taken off for good. In all three visits I have had so far, I have not one single complaint. Even when the department was moved to another hospital in Hertfordshire, everything went smoothly and it was during the Christmas period. All timing was perfect, no long waits, all staff were very friendly, warm, informative and professional. I would recommend this hospital highly and have no complaints regarding the treatment I have received from the NHS staff and its services. I feel very lucky in all honesty. So please pass on my thanks to all the staff that helped me.
"Excellent Service on my Three visits so far to PAH"
