"Professionalism and knowledge"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford)

My 83yr old father recently was admitted to the Coronary care unit at Wonford following a cardiac event which meant he required a pacemaker. Although very anxious and unwell he was reassured by all the care he was given, from the paramedics to the ED staff, the ward nurses and doctors, the domestics and reception staff he was impressed by them all. Their level of knowledge and understanding of his condition and him as an individual was also praiseworthy. He especially enjoyed his selection of meals and the quality of the food. He is now recovering well at home and I would like to thank all the staff concerned on his behalf for ensuring he had the highest level of care and compassion.
