I returned yesterday from having a pacemaker fitted. All I can say is from the consultant , to all staff, I couldn't have received better treatment, in fact, I would say, everyone went 'beyond the call of duty'. Unfortunately i had to stay overnight and the staff in the overnight ward were just as caring, kind and considerate and attentive. I would recommend anyone needing surgery to go the conquest hospital. It was a very stressful and worrying time for my daughter who accompanied me and she was given the same treatment, even down to booking a room for her locally when I had to stay overnight unexpectedly. I would like my thanks passed onto the staff at the Cath lab ward and the overnight stay ward and obviously the doctor.
