About: Colchester General Hospital

I was given a Urology appointment for an enlarged prostate, From the time I walked through the door at 0630hrs I was given brilliant treatment ,nurses came to make sure I was OK, a doctor came to explain the operation and how long it would take, kept my mind at rest, during the operation I was given details of what was happening and reassured throughout the procedure. Back on the ward I was made comfortable and everything was again advised what was happening. could not fault the care, a visit twice from the surgeon to make sure all was ok. Discharged the next day given advice on what to do, supplied with additional information via leaflets given advice on who to contact should I have any concerns. Thank You Colchester Gen. for all that you have done, My life is now a lot better 24 hrs. a day.
