"I anyone to try the booking line now, and see if..."

About: Queen Charlotte's Hospital

I anyone to try the booking line now, and see if you can speak to *anyone*. The number is 020 3313 3926, option 1. My prediction of your experience: 1) You'll start off about third in the queue. 2) After 15 minutes you'll be "next in the queue". 3) When you reach the head of the queue the line will go dead. Retry it a few times to see if the same thing happens every time. Sure does (I've had quite a frustrating couple of hours). My wife had the same experience yesterday and last Friday. Try the Imperial Booking line, they'll transfer you to the same number and steps 1-3 will repeat again. Try the main QCCH switchboard number, they transfer you to the same broken system. How can you make someone wait 15 minutes then reach a point where they get cut off and force them to restart the process ad-infinitum for hours? This coupled with a threat to refuse to treat no-shows is extremely distressing.

Imerial College Healthcare NHS Trust is sorry to read of your experience and we sincerely apologise for the poor service you have highlighted. In the past couple of weeks the service has reported an increased number of calls and Thamesnet have explained that the system cannot cope with the level of calls we have queuing. The service manager is looking to resolve the situation by tagging this line on to another which is currently manned by another two members of staff; this should then improve our ability to pick up these calls and reduce any more complaints. Thank you for the feedback.
