I am unfortunate to suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis which is classed as severe. I was taken into Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for an infected testicle on a Saturday morning.
They informed me that I needed a scan to determine what caused the infection. At no time was my wife permitted to visit me due to a vomiting bug. I was finally discharged at 12.30 on the monday without a scan being carried out.
Due to my RA I was unable to remove my dressing gown or pyjamas to have a wash or shower. When I asked the nusing staff for help I was told that it was against health and safety to assist male patients. Therefore I was in hospital for nearly three days without a wash or shower.
"No help for male patients in Norwich?"
