I'm currently 31 weeks pregnant and due to a rather eventful pregnancy from day 1, I have had to visit the hospital almost weekly. The reception, midwifery and nursing staff are fantastic and exceptionally respectfully caring. Yes, waiting times can stack up, but everyone who I have spoken to keep you informed as to how long you may be waiting etc. It would seem the main reasons for delays are out of the staff's hands, yet due to frustration they end up having to deal with angry pregnant ladies and their company being exceptionally rude. They handle this professionally and politely - and they have my respect and admiration. I have always received excellent care from every staff member I have had the pleasure to spend any amount of time with. In addition, due to the lengthy waiting times it's given me insight as to the work the staff do away from the patients, they work hard, care and often end up taking breaks much later than they should. Keep up your awesome work, and thank you for helping me personally so far, to you it might just be doing your job, but it means a lot, especially when what should be a happy and joyous event is very scary.
