"Fantastic"

About: James Paget University Hospital

Was transferred after my local hospital had no room in the neonatal unit and I was in threatened pre-term labour. Have to say all the staff were fantastic. Made me feel a lot more at ease, explained everything to me, really went out if their way to see of there was anything I needed and made sure to address any concerns I had. I was regularly monitored and unlike a lot if hospitals I never felt like people where trying to get a away as soon as possible because they were too busy. The only thing I would say needs improving was that the Food left a lot to be desired for but I suppose that's sort of standard for hospital food.

Thanks so much for your comments about the care you had with our maternity team. I am glad you found it was just what you needed. I am sorry to see the comments about the food. We do a lot to work with our patients to give them as much variety as we can in our menus, and ensure food is hot, so I would be grateful if you could contact me direct and let me know what your particular concerns were. I can then pass these on to our teams to look at. Many thanks. Ann Filby, Head of Communications, ann.filby@jpaget.nhs.uk, 01493 452162
