I was in A and E on Tuesday 6th January with a friend who had been assessed as needing hospital treatment by paramedics. She is 102 years of age and was in considerable pain. I was so impressed and grateful to all the hospital staff who dealt with us. They could not have been more professional and considerate treating my friend with respect and kindness ensuring that she was comfortable at all times in spite of the great demand at the time . Entry to the hospital was very well organised and as speedy as possible, rather reminiscent of Gatwick as the planes queue to land with patients coming in from ambulances then on to the corridor and finally through to a cubicle in a constant stream .The staff were working so hard but remained calm and interested in their patients welfare. I want to register our deep appreciation of your work in A and E and in the ward she was transferred to and this of course includes the paramedics too. What a huge difference you all make. Thank you.
"Thank you"
