"Cardiology Angiogram"

Had to attend for angiogram. The staff were very involved in each patient's care, giving full information on what was going to happen. I was not left alone for long periods, staff making sure all was ok, checking blood pressure, apologising as there was slight delay between patients having their angiograms. The doctor introduced them self and advised as to whether they were going to do radial or femoral angiogram. Theatre staff friendly, comforting without being patronising. As far as procedures go, I was 100% comfortable with the whole event. I would say the care was exemplary, caring, kind - and fun. Obviously a close-knit,cohesive team. Brilliant. The only thing I would adversely comment upon was the fact I was initially in a mini ward with two gentlemen. Personally, it wasn't a problem for me, but it could be for others. However, this is only an observation and not a criticism.
