I am just in the process of commencing chemotherapy and having remedial treatment for colon cancer. After having two major operations I cannot praise the staff highly enough. As this was my first visit to a hospital I was apprehensive and I have to admit a little scared. The surgeon talked me throughout the whole procedure and helped to reassure me. My stay in hospital was not the nightmare I was expecting due to the attention of all the staff. I was surprised and disappointed to read the recent comments made of Hithchinbrooke hospital and hope that this review will at least show that there are patients like myself that wish the hospital only the best.
