"Blown away by the amazing care we received -..."

We came to Pembury for the induction of our overdue baby. Things didn't go how we'd hoped (home, water birth) so to be in hospital, and ending with an emergency c-section, could have been a pretty negative things for us all. We were absolutely blown away by the care we received at this fantastic facility. Clearly there is a great culture of team work, and respect between the teams here. The hospital was extremely clean, and the facilities were wonderful (the only bad part is the grumpy staff in Costa!) We were involved in all decisions and discussions, and everything possible was done for us to have a natural birth. Our baby had a few days in neonatal, and I had some recovery to do, and everyone caring for us was wonderful. We were actually in over Christmas, and the post natal ward even had a little Christmas present for me and the baby! Such a thoughtful gesture. I wish it could thank every person that cared for us. Not just the people that we saw and spoke to (I said thank you to those people whenever I could) but to the army of people behind the scenes that we didn't get to meet. Thank you Pembury, for the safe delivery of our baby, for looking after me, and caring for my husband (who I think had the toughest time of us all!)
