"2013 problems began... 2015 and still not much..."

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary

Aug 2013 my then 7 year old boy couldn't straighten his knee without physical pain for no apparent reason, however my gp sent him to dri for them to look at, After a few appointments he was sent for mri scan and bloods. These showed bloods abit out and mri scan clear, I was told nothing's in his knee let's see how he gets on. It took till January till he could not feel the pain and his knee seemed ok. However August 2013 the same thing happened, my gp sent me back to dri and he was referred to the Orthpedics department. This has been a nightmare to say the least, he has had nearly 20 appointments alone for his knee as well as lympth nodes up since may of 2013 and appointments for maxi fax and my doctors inbetween. He was sent home all the time after being told to come back if it starts again, that's the limping on the bad days...!! He's had no pedritricion see him and it's been requested, also sent for a second scan after seeing videos to show them how bad it affects him when he has the most pain, this is recorded due to never getting to see the specialist when requested and getting the receptionist to phone back which she doesn't..!! Funny enough the second scan has showed up something odd on the scan but yet we still not sure what it is. Camera is due to be used next. This boy has been left in pain for months when it could of been sorted a long time ago. I'm disturbed by the fact they thought maybe he was making up the problem or even not checking the first mri properly, has he caused himself more damage due to it been going on so long...?? Even better still my gp has not received any information on my son about results and that's after I told him he was having mri number 2, my doctored wrote to the specialist and asked what was happening on the 25th of November and still no reply and results sent. Kimberley
