My son was admitted to rainbow ward after a visit to our gp which ended up with us being transferred to A&E in an ambulance.
After being stabilised in the accident and emergency department he was transferred to the the high dependency unit located on the ward. My son received A1 treatment by a dedicated team of doctors and nurses.
He has now been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and they have been so helpful and taught us how to do his blood tests and his insulin injections. I honestly can't fault the standard of care at all.
Nothing is too much bother for the staff and they go above the call of duty to make your stay comfortable.
