"We visited the Hospital A and E with a very..."

About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital

We visited the Hospital A and E with a very poorly little girl last Night. Excellent handover and transition from the 111 Service. The receptionist was very kind and patient. Minimal wait from arrival to being seen. The paediatric Nurse was very skilled at engaging with young patient. Managed to help settle Mummy and child. Casualty Officer very patient, prompt referral to paed team. Everyone managed to reassure us. Very thorough assessment. All involved ensured that full assessment possible was taken. Nothing was left undone. Paed Nurse was asked to help with asthma treatment when child unable to cooperate. It may seem a simple task and she made it look easy but dont underestimate the challenge of getting a little person to use volumatic when their instinct is not to do so...and the child's smile when she could breath easier plus the compulsory reward stickers was a very welcome sight.I would definitely recommend your service. We were treated with respect and kindness. Thank You.
