I can not fault the doctor and their secretary at all. I was treated as an individual and they were determined to help me. They exhausted all possibilities but unfortunately the intervention procedures have not worked but my problem is very complicated and I have been referred to a London hospital. The doctor was very understanding, listened to me and was able to gauge my pain level and how it was effecting me just by reading my face.I found them very easy to talk to and trusted their decisions and recommendations totally. When the intervention procedures were carried out in the day surgery centre, the care by the staff was brilliant. The nurses on the ward, theatre staff and doctor were brilliant. They recognised my sense of humour and used this to alleviate any fears I had in theatre and made me laugh. Their secretary has been and still is amazing, very helpful, understanding, kind and trustworthy. My only problem was with some of the outpatients receptionist who carried on personal discussions rather than dealing with the patients booking in or attempting to engage in conversation with them. I found this very rude and unprofessional. Please note that not all were like it, some were very good and helpful. I can not thank the doctor, their team, the day surgery ward secretary enough.
"fantastic"
