"Fantastic service"

I attended St James a & e in the first week of December 2014, I had been sent up by a concerned GP (an over reaction I felt and I felt a bit of a fraud.) With all the media about the pressures on A & E I had expected to enter a war zone what greeted me was a quiet, well run, professional service. I was met by a smiley receptionist and sent over to the CDU were in the 2 hours I was there I saw a doctor twice, had a chest x-ray and bloods done and reported on before been sent on my way. I was apologising to everyone as I felt a bit of fraud been there but the staff from the healthcare assistant to the young Doctors that saw me couldnt have been kinder to me. I accept it was a Wednesday at 6.30pm so maybe not a & e's busiest day but still it made me very proud of the NHS and that such a service is there. I know your all under the cosh at the moment so just wanted to post a note of thanks, support and appreciation. Regards Andy
