I was taken to A&E last week after a collision with another cyclist on a bike and had a head injury. I have never been in an ambulance (even though I am 60+) or treated in A&E as an emergency but can confidently say that at all times I was treated with respect, empathy and could not have had a more thorough assessment and treatment. In these days when people are ready to criticise everything it is a pleasure to know that we are so lucky to have such amazing people working in our National Health Service and the treatment was reassuringly excellent.
