"Knee replacement surgery"

About: Whiston Hospital

Admitted to ward 3B on 04.01.15 for replacement knee surgery. Allocated a bed very quickly and had my surgery within a few hours. The staff from doctors, nurses, catering, porters and cleaners all made my short stay less stressful and they took time to be friendly and reassuring. Physiotherapists organised equipment for home very quickly so I could be discharged without delay. After care service has been set up by the hospital so I'm aware of when a district nurse is due to visit me at home. I was previously in Whiston Hospital 3 years ago and the level of care hasn't changed since then. The hospital should be proud of the care that staff give.
