I had to have a small plastic surgery on my back to have a nice scar on my back due to a cancerous mole being removed previously. I went to ward 39 where the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I was in and out in a few hours as it was an outpatient surgery. When I was in theatre the nurses and doctors were very friendly and I was very comfortable to be there even though I did not want to be there. I felt very relaxed while the doctor was performing the surgery, he was talking to me during the procedure and advising what was happening. He made sure that the tattoo I have on my back won't be really affected with the scar. Even though I haven't seen my scar yet as I still have the dressing on, the nurse at my GP advised me when changing the dressing that she has never seen a more perfect scar yet. This made me very happy. All in one, I had a great experience while on ward 39 (especially that it was on the 31st December).
