I was admitted overnight to AMU via A and E. I saw a consultant on arrival in A and E and was treated quickly and efficiently by everyone who was involved in my care. After initial treatment in the department, including blood tests and an X Ray I was transferred to AMU. My wait in A and E was not longer than 2 and 1/2 hrs and I was looked after very well and kept informed at all times. The AMU staff were very attentive and considering how busy the unit was I was very happy with the care I received. From the time my husband contacted the 111 service to my admission to AMU was less than 4 hrs. Amazing service on a bank holiday. Thankyou
