My father-in-law has Alzheimer’s and when admitted to hospital he was put on a diabetes ward C54! I don’t know why this happened. In my opinion, his treatment was appalling as they just left him on his own with no help in washing or eating. If we didn’t go daily, I wouldn’t like to think of what state he would be in. It took over four weeks for someone to tell us what was actually wrong with him and that was only because we asked! I am absolutely disgusted by the care of the elderly at Nottingham Queens Medical Centre.
