"A&E Then onto Urology."

Ok, urine infection spread to one of my "unmentionables" and when youve stopped laughing i'll continue. Ok, one was swollen hugely and inturn led to sepsis. I had a 1 in 3 chance of not ending in theatre. I was a special case and fussed over...and i was 1 observation away from the icu. It wasnt until 7 days later i found out how very poorly i had actually been. It was then i realised just how much care had been taken with me. Its probably fair to say they saved my life. I seem to be admitted a couple of timea a year and bar 1 ward B20, the others have bèen very very good. B28 this time? I can only offer a simple but sincere thanks. From the surgeon and registrar through nurses to cleaners. And fellas, dont literally die of embarrassment, go and get checked out if you need too. The problem is when an infection goes into your blood...time is of the essence! Literally life threatening.
