"Wonderful experience"

I stayed in hospital for 3 nights following a planned c-section. The hospital was very clean and peaceful, the staff were all very helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The best part of my experience was being able to have a private room where my partner could stay and help me with our baby on those first few days. Visitors that came to see me all said it was unlike any other maternity ward they had ever visited and felt like private hospitals they had spent time in. For someone very private like myself, the private room really helped with establishing breast feeding and for resting after my operation and I firmly believe that being on a busy ward surrounded by other women would have been detrimental to this. The staff, from my anaesthetist to the care assistants were all very helpful and listened and helped with my individual needs and were eager for me to stay as long as i felt i needed. I can't rate this hospital highly enough and wouldn't consider going anywhere else if i go on to have another baby.
